I worked with End Hunger Network at two different agencies in my career, which was been very rewarding. Upon some research we found that most people don’t purposefully NOT give to the hungry, they just don’t think about it often. So—we set out to get people thinking about it. And one thing to know about Houston, is there are a lot of affluent areas. We designed an Outdoor campaign, with a series of posters to use guerrilla-style—posted in parking lots, around trees or sign poles, whatever made sense. Yes, even I was out there posting these up. The campaign worked, and the client told us it reduced hungry Houstonians visiting their shelter from 750,000 annually to 580,000.
Work included:
• Research & Strategy
• Campaign Design, Messaging & Visual Identity
• Communication Vehicles and Media Ideas
• Poster Design, Production and Guerrilla Placement
• Invitation Design & Photography
750,000 Hungry Houstonians minus 170,000 = Progress.

Grocery Store Floor Vinyls
Placed at entrances of participating Houston grocery stores, we boldly captured the attention of shoppers as they got started to keep us top of mind. So—they could pick up a few extra items to drop in the red barrel (also located at entrances/exits) –or– the checkout aisle end caps held branded brown paper bags full of non-perishable items, for shoppers to easily grab and add to their cart for checkout.
