Everything you see here—every word, image, and touchpoint—was built from the ground up by our team. Well, everything except for the ‘VC’ swoosh logo. This was a full rebrand: strategy, storytelling, design, content, and execution. The result? A dramatic rise in sales, a huge surge in social following, and, perhaps most notably, a shift in industry perception. Suddenly, people took notice. A Custom Drink to Celebrate a new Custom Firearm
We came up with a drink to launch a new 22 Mag pistol and make proper use of the ‘V bar’ design. It includes rye whiskey distilled in Volquartsen’s hometown of Carroll, IA—and the name 22 Hawkeye combines the new pistol caliber and honors the Iowa Hawkeyes. Special guests were invited to come back after show hours, enjoy a drink and talk guns while the rush hour traffic crowd filed out like sardines. We photographed the tabletop bottle/drink shot in-house, with the campfire shot from our Wyoming photoshoot projected on a big monitor in the background. *Note: you may find an ingredient nod to Tangelo (my firm) in here.

We brought the idea to Volquartsen of having Brand Ambassadors to quickly bolster social followings, engagement and content creation in advance of new product releases and upcoming industry shows. We researched, analyzed the right fits, handled negotiations, oversaw content creation, planned photoshoots and much more with the influencers.
